On the farm, our dogs could hear Dad’s p.u. truck tires “singing” on the highway at a half a mile and ears perked up!

With all that anticipation this was Koko’s cue.

That would happen to me regularly with my dog but one day I decided instead of coming in the front door like I usually do, I snuck around and came in the back door – really messed up his day, but he was pretty quick to forgive!

My dog can tell the difference in sounds between my garage door and my wife’s garage door.

We used to laugh at Pepper when she was young. She would jump up and start wagging before my wife’s car came into view. Talk about good hearing!

Our pets definitely have a sixth sense, they are very perceptive. How lucky we are to have such faithful and caring companions.

We used to call our dog ‘our early warning system’.

Cats do this too, just without wreaking the house! My sister says, she knows I’m coming because my cat will stop whatever he is doing and wait by the door!
