Calvin, you can probably forget everything you learned today in 60 minutes, because — let’s be honest — you really didn’t learn that much.

Hobbes vs Tigger in a pounce off!

Make up your mind Calvin.

To rephrase the quote from the battle at Bunker Hill in 1775 a little, “don’t [pounce] until you see the whites of [his] eyes.”

And he really gets beaten up worse than from Moe by Hobbs.

Some animals never will be domesticated, and that includes some fierce stuffed toys.

His parents will never understand the stress he goes through.

If Calvin’s eyes were as big as dinner plates then there’s no way Hobbes could miss them!

It’s a hard knock life….

A version of this strip that shows what really happened would be interesting.

“Cato?! Pay attention! This is your employer speaking! I am cancelling the attack orders for tonight! You understand? Calvin’s eyes were wide open but Hobbes’ were scrunched closed.
