Now all that’s left is for Tracy & Sam to give their thanks to the Minot P.D. for letting them take the lead in the takedown, given all that had led up to that moment. I like thinking that kind of inter-jurisdictional cooperation exists in the Tracyverse. It doesn’t happen all that often, if ever, in the real world but why not in Minot? (And I AM getting one of those shirts.)
Oh goody! All wrapped up.. and on a TUESDAY no less!
Geez, whatever shall we do with FOUR WHOLE DAYS to fill? Oh I know.. how about dragging back the boring Austin/Crystal angle for a little while til the “Not Quite A Minit” mystery rolls up
Admittedly, I may not have followed this arc very closely. However, there’s something I can’t work out. James Wesley Malone’s grave marker has CSA engraved on it which, I believe, stands for “Confederate States of America.” If Malone was, in fact, a Confederate soldier, why would his grave marker be in Minot, ND?
well, the autopsy should be able to match the fatal bullet to whomever shot it……I’m guessing Sam……seems more the type, plus didn’t seem worried walking up to Sawtooth that there was any chance of him doing any more damage…..also it would mean Sam might have saved Dick this time; he never could get the better of Sawtooth before, why now?
I’m sure they do have a police force……and that that force could have captured him alive, via dogs, tear gas, etc. But, this seemed to be a personal vendetta………and as Sam recalled, Sawtooth always manages to beat them in court, so capturing him alive may not have been his preference, anyways, lol……although Dick being the super straight laced guy he is, I’m sure did still want him alive.
Meanwhile, Crystal is getting a manicure. BTW, trains existed in the 1860’s maybe some rebellious use in SD decided to join in and rode a train to Richmond

Good morning™, paper pushers!
There are no doubt papers to be filed with the Minot police force, then back to Tracyville tomorrow.
I guess Super Cab Brother isn’t going to get paid.

Good morning™, lucky to-be-alive cabbies !
Lizz iz looking mighty saucy ! I would feel the need for a big “dump” if I were Tracy, too !

Well it was nice knowing Sawtooth. You never should have come back to Tracy’s territory.

Sawtooth didn’t lead them on quite as merry a chase as Gruesome did. ✨

Despite some glaring mistakes and suspension of logic I’d say The Saga of Snappy Sawtooth was overall satisfying.
I’d give it a 7 out of 10
Not too shabby.

Just fill out this paperwork, cabbie, and you should get your fare in… oh, three to four months…

I wonder how the cabbie recognized Tracy as a cop. Around here they don’t dress like that.

More like he lucked out, because Sawtooth wasn’t going to let him live!

They will have to change the sign at the city limits: “Welcome to Minot! The city without a police force!”

Alas, poor Mario! Crime does not pay. —Not even its taxi fare.
Paperwork po-po, for at least another day (strip time, which could last all week our time).
And who shall lament the passing of Sawtooth? The Hot-Tub Girls? And was he really named James Wesley Malone?

“You’re out of luck sir! He was on a one-way trip.”
Now that’s a classic noir line.
