One morning before opening my eyes, but still awake (maybe dreaming), I saw something like panel 3. Since it was not centered in my vision it tended to float away as I tried to look more closely at it. There seemed to be some sort of animated line drawing moving inside that tiny circle.

So yes, very cool and trippy!

And…. cue Pac-Man music, ….NOW!

As a sometime writer, I can testify to the difficulties of having one of your major characters angry at you.

Pab, did you also write today’s “Fred Basset” strip?

I wonder if Pab’s been having a bit of the old green pixel dots on the monitor – could be cpu or monitor problem. He could try monitor massage and exercise the dot away.

Not a “dot.” It’s a saw blade. It has 6 sharp teeth. Like a router blade. Watch out, folks, once it starts spinning – who knows whose heads will fall.
