It’s “you’re supposed to not believe politicians”, but the way you said it works too, Gramp.

It’s the same with other who dwell on your work and money: Don’t trust bosses, priests, banks…

I’m more inclined to believe a scientist than a politician

If you only believe what you believe because someone else told you to believe it, then you have no right to expect anyone to respect your opinion

The climate change fallacy has changed my mind about scientists. Why do we not hear from more dissenters? My schooling majored in science, I understand the theory of introducing carbon dioxide into a bell jar exposed to sunshine and seeing the temperature rise. The problem is all theories of real-world change are based on computer models and none of the models have proven to be true. Every decade it has been a new scenario of doom and gloom for the next decade, all falling flat in reality. The whole idea has been hijacked by politicians and the United Nations with their demands of money from the rich countries to give to the poor countries.

All I know is the Mulberry trees around here already have more berries than they can handle. That means a really bad winter. I haven’t checked out the woolly caterpillars yet. I think I’m going to hibernate this winter.

Focus the argument on cutting pollution, which is good whoever is right about climate.

When the global warming scientists say it’s going to happen and then after a few months and a total media hurricane say it’s not going to happen and that their numbers were wrong it’s kinda hard to believe them either.

The article compares co2 emitted by volcanos vs humans not the REAL pollution of particulates. According to the predictions of the early computer models, we should be sweltering in a world without ice by now what with the huge amount of co2 we are emitting.

Climate “scientist” and politicians are pretty much in lock-step. There’s not much disagreement. “Climate change” provides politicians with plenty of reasons to collect money and increase their power. They are more than happy to kick back loads of cash to the “scientists” as research grants. The only exception are conservative politicians who know how to think and can see “climate change” for the political scam it is.
