Coolish morning but, the report calls for mid 80s today.
Hay Rita how did your peepers turn out yesterday? Fine I hope.
As a New Englander I hate to admit that I have never been in Maine. So Jan my dear, you’ve been somewhere in my own back yard that I have not, sometime maybe.
Well,I ain’t got much going on, and I wish you all a wonerful day.
Mark, I don’t think you are missing much. Maine and New Hampshire were virtually identical yesterday….
We drove up to North Conway New Hampshire yesterday. It is a village with terrific shops, restaurants and a train museum & excursion. We rode the train and enjoyed every minute of it.
Today we will head back to Don’s place and the four of us will go out to dinner this afternoon at a floating restaurant in Portland Harbor.
I found out last night that Mike is in jail again. I don’t know exactly why, but he is expected to be there for a couple of years. I got his address from a friend of his and will write to him today.
We made it up to 83 yesterday, but a cold front is going to breeze through this afternoon.
Mark, my eye doctor’s appointment went very well. He was able to do some tests that came out poorly with my “old” vision, and things are doing very well. It is a pleasure to see again! He said the “after cataracts” do not come back, so I should be good.
We’ve been to Maine and New Hampshire. Loved the Portland Head Light. So picturesque. But, then again, I love light houses. Funny thing. We don’t have any here in Montana.

Good morning Vagabonds.Today the temp is supposed to be in high 70’s and sunny but who knows with their accuracy on rain lately.
This afternoon we will be going to Karen’s house to help her get ready for her husband’s 60th birthday party on Sat.
His birthday was before this but you have the party when you can get about 14 to 15 people together, on the same day, to celebrate.
Hope you all have a good day.

We have been to Maine many times and like the coast very much even tho we live near the coast down here.
Barbara lived in Waterville in 1941 while her father worked on building Colby College until the war stopped construction on it in 1942.
In 1984 the whole family spent a week on Vinalhaven Island. We enjoyed that very much.
I wouldn’t want to spend the winters there, too cold for me.
