    Good morning Vagabonds.

Well our heat wave has been broken. After being over 90 for the 18th day this summer, the temp has dropped drastically.

Today it will only be in the mid 70’s and the humidity will be dropping. Next week, however, the 80’s will return again on Monday and the 90’s on Tues.

May you all have a good day.

    Morning, Village!

Maybe most of you didn’t see my question yesterday.

I haven’t seen Arye in a while. Has anybody heard from him recently?

And in answer to Montana Lady’s question, I’ve been doing fine. Nothing exiting to report, really. I check in periodically, whether I post anything or not. I don’t want to bore everybody with a weather report.

    Bonds, Vagabonds

Will that be shaken and not stirred?

Our heat and humidity has also broken, yesterday began with the temperatures in the high 70s, by the end of the day it might have been the high 50s. I know my jeep was showing 59 yesterday near noon.

We may be in need of a new fridge. This thing takes cold air from the freezer to keep the refrigerator cold. Well, the fridge wasn’t cold, called a repair man, $85 later he had defrosted the unit and cold air was flowing again. A week or so later the temps were up inside the fridge again. Well, he had used a hot air paint remover to defrost the thing. I got one and defrosted it again, a week later I did it once more. I’ve done it about four times since the original $85 was spent. I’m about to pull the sheet over it and get a new one. OK, I’m done, thanks for listening.

May the good Lord bless and keep you. Later.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yes, Mark, it seems you need a new fridge. Good luck.

Yesterday we met with our youngest nephew John and his daughter Evelyn at my brother’s house. He’s doing remarkably well. He’s the one who had lost his 6 month old son to a senseless accident a few years ago. He went through a lot, including PTSD. He’s now a supervisor for American Airlines on the crew that maintains the aircraft between flights. They do the outside stuff, not the inside clean-up. His daughter is a cutie and a real live wire. She latched onto Michael and the two of them had a wonderful afternoon together. After being introduced, I became “Aunt” and Michael was “the other one”.

Today we will finally meet with Willy and his family. He’s the second oldest (of 9) and the only one here in Maine we haven’t connected with yet. One of the sons lives in Washington state, but the rest are here close to their folks.

Saturday, Bob (the eldest) will come out to change the oil in the RV. He’s a good mechanic and we need it done before we hit the road again.

Yesterday was a welcome relief in the weather after two days of hot and sticky. Last night got down to the mid 50’s and we actually need the heater this morning. Today is supposed to be only 71 and the humidity is going down (praise God).

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good Clear morning, Vagabonds,

We spent a lovely evening star gazing. It’s just warm enough to sit out for an hour or two. We sat on our front porch where we’re protected from the cool breeze, and were treated to seeing Mars, Saturn and Pluto in the southern sky.

We take out an iPad so we can check on FlightAware to see what is flying over us. Last night we had the big FedEx jet and the long distance job from LAX to Iceland. Fun.

    Enjoy your day.

Did you mean Jupiter instead of Pluto? He’s the brightest one out now.
