Last year at our County Fair there were lots of weird foods on a stick….

I remember not buying the pineapple upside down cake…. a small piece…

the calamari, “healthy” chunks of cauliflower,

or a fairly short skewer of dill pickle slices…

Each of them batter dipped and deep fried, for around $7.50 apiece.

Compared to those, prime rib on a stick sounds great!

Maybe they could put it on the stick raw, and briefly cook it over a hot flame, or even in hot oil, so it’s very rare….. mmmm.

If it’s dripping a little, just eat it over a plate of pesto pasta from our “Pasta King.”

The only problem is they’d probably charge $27.98 for it, and the pesto is already 10 bucks.

I read that a popular item at some other fairs was a breaded, deep fried stick of butter on a stick.

Pure dairy fat fried in grease.

Of course, the linguini and clams has the same problem as the baked beans on a stick I like to ask a food booth why they don’t have..

I think Bob invented the deep fried S’mores on-a-stick.

You can now buy deep-fried Oreos in the store – they are in the freezer department.

I’m disappointed that Bob hasn’t invented “Ribs on a Stick” yet.
