I found my resolution!

I hereby resolve to make only one resolution this year. There, and I bet I keep this one just like the last six yeatrs. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May old aquantince be forgot… Oh…who was I talking to?

aquantince…those under the water influence that I used to know..

I resolve to begin thinking about setting goals for next year.

My resolution is to obfuscate superfluous malfeasance. I learned it last week.

You can’t escape Opal’s criticisms, Earl, no matter what you do.

I wish I were as good at blowing off criticism as Earl is. I think, that is going to be my resolution.

Actually Elbert’s bit of wisdom was to make the point that one should go about one’s business of living and don’t be concerned about avoiding criticism. Still, it’s a funny toon. Happy New Year, everybody!
