    Actually, yes it should. The Archimedes principal explains it as I recall. Carved oars might be a problem, though….

    If the amount of water displaced by the boat weighs less than the boat then it should float.

    The launching might be a bit rough.. Oars made of rock are tricky to use though and a sail out of rock will likely make it tippy

    Actually, Henry J. Kaiser made millions selling concrete cargo ships to the American military during the Second World War. That’s how he scrapped up the capital to start his own auto company after the war.
