I agree with Pab, who I believe is saying that the “trigger warnings” have gotten ridiculous. The first one I saw bewildered me. It was shown at the beginning of a video of maybe 5 minutes or less. I watched the video. It showed a mother orangutan (I think) pulling her youngster around to various locations while she ate and gathered food. The youngster did not appear to want to go where Mom was going, so she had to keep hold on its arm so she could feed them both and so the kiddo would not escape somewhere. The youngster did not appear to be hurting or suffering in any way, other than not getting its own way to go exploring. I have no idea why anyone would be offended. But apparently some people are in various ways, so I guess the warnings are necessary. I personally think Pab’s use of them this week is funny. If that’s not exciting or funny enough for some people, I’m sorry to hear that, but I’m happy with the strip, as I usually am.
