It took me a moment to realize this was supposed to be Yodaspeak. While blunebottle’s version is more elegant, the sentence in the comic could be converted as “Who ate your lunch you will not guess!” Yoda can and does use regular Subject-Verb-Object order, but sometimes when the object or complement is also the topic and he wants to emphasize it, he will front it, producing Object (or Topic)-Subject-Verb order. Various languages do that, but it’s fairly clear that Yoda’s native language is Yiddish.

Proper grammar rules out Yoda and probably Chewbacca. Outside of that, I don’t know. If someone ate his cinnamon buns, it might be Leia.

He needs all the help he can get.

That would be “… guess who you will not.”.

Correct you are.

Shouldn’t that be “Your lunch I ate. Who, you will not guess.”

Actually all that he actually had in the bag was leftover dessert from last night, Obi-Wan’s Cannoli!

Punchline? Laugh tag? Joke? Any of these anywhere in this panel?

Stephen: I kind of don’t think it was Yoda; except for possibly the first sentence; it doesn’t sound like the way he speaks.

“Tasty, the lunch was. Better attention to your lunch, you should pay.”

I guess Yoda is dyslexic.
