“Right,” scoffs Andy. “The ‘vicar’ just walked in.” “Hello, Mr. Capp,” says the vicar. Andy turns around and sheepishly greets him back.

What’s the vicar doing in a bar? Or does that happen often now with the CoE?

It’s not like he is Baptist!Everyone should no that you never invite only one Baptist to go fishing with you, because he will drink all your beer. If you invite two Baptists, neither will have drink any, leaving it all to yourself.

I guess they are about to fight when the vicar came in.

What’s the holdup? The vicar himself has told Andy often enough what he thinks of him.

The vicar had been planning to drink to forget Andy.

Don’t worry, the vicar will agree & then add a few things.

I think the gent at the bar timed that comment to when it would least likely result in bodily harm, to him.

That is sadly true. People are afraid to offend the apparent man of God, yet forget that God is there at all times. It is too easy for us to forget that we will need to account for all of our actions one day. That is why we all need a savior to redeem us from the sins that so easily overcomes us.

Just as well. Andy would probably beat him up afterwards.
