Well, at least their work can’t be ruined by a fly, like one did to that domino toppling team attempting to set a world record with 600,000 tiles in Germany last month.
Not quite transcontinental, but similar. In our community, they doing a mosaic mural on a retaining wall that extends down the entire block. It’s community effort, not the work of a contractor or just a couple of people.

My brother’s third ex-wife was a jigsaw puzzle nut. I sent her the 10,000 piece blank white puzzle. He was not pleased.
