The way we listen to music has changed so much in the last fifty years I hate to think how much I’ve spent on the “new” technology. I’ve reverted back to my albums and eclectic radio stations.
That’s true. You can never have the newest computer for more than a few seconds, but you can use the one you have for years.
When I was in my twenties I did not see the pattern… by the time I retired it was clear to see…
new is not always improved and even when it is, it ends up being badly implemented or used badly
old is not always a bad thing… there is something to be said for stable and well understood.
I agree with his mournful wail. It’s why I was glad to retire from the computer industry when I did.
