Shemc asked what beach I am on. My family rented a house in Duck NC on the Outer Banks NC. It is half a mile from the beach but it has a view through the trees and past a water tower to the sound.

Chesney reminds me of my cat, “Darkness”. I’ve only been up for a half hour, and she’s already spilled a cup of coffee, stolen (and eaten) a little bag of blueberry scones one of my students gave me, and…., Omigosh! Where is she? What is she doing now? Darkness? Darkness?

Cats are sweet and adorable, but they are barely domesticated and frequently decide to become one with their leopard ancestors. Woe to anybody who gets in the way.

What was Annie thinking taking Chesney along?!?! She would have been better taking Oliver or Woof! :-)

I love everything about kitties. Except it’s hard to introduce a new member of the family. Dogs sniff each other’s rears and move on, kitties can be very snotty about it.

Gweedo and I are going to be “on the road again” traveling to meet fellow posters on various sites. We will be posting as we have access to available wifi. Meeting with BBear is on the visit list, and we are both looking forward to meeting him. We will be spending a week or so in New York state, his family reunion is being held there. Don’t worry if you don’t hear from either of us, daily, we’ll be here, eventually…. Enjoy, and keep the comments flowing…..
