Watched a medical documentary years ago. Heart patient (2nd, 3rd, or more go ’round) got asked what he ate for breakfast every day – a pound of bacon, a dozen eggs, grits, many donuts, many glasses of whole milk, etc. (for himself alone). Doc asked him when he was going to change his diet – remember, obese smoker who eats like that every day and has had multiple heart attacks. “When they prove that diet has an effect on my heart.”
And a side order or congestive heart failure, diabetes and all the other diseases brought on by having a belt longer than you are tall. You dig your grave with your teeth.

Didn’t we see this one before a week or so ago? Guy’s sandwich sounds like something Dagwood Bumstead would make.

Diet drinks fool the body into thinking it is getting sugar and then when it doesn’t it craves more sugar. Diet drinks actually put on weight.

You can eat kale and avoid all the best tasting foods and guess what — you die anyway And of the same stuff, heart failure, cancer, …
I’d prefer to enjoy a shorter life than be miserable in a longer one. I’m 76 and still moving well so enjoying a long life also seems to be an option.
