A similar story line in The Addams family. Pugsley and Uncle Fester build a robot they name “Smiley” (Robby the Robot) supposed to be helping Lurch have some leisure time. Lurch thinks they are getting rid of him. Thing’s advice, destroy it! And so Lurch does. When they ask he shows a huge wrench and claims, “he resigned”. And that was that.

ooooooo “dismissed” hes hurting now.

Logically Jarvis should be treating this as a godsend, it’ll get him away from this sack of crap and he can actually get a more fulfilling job, like shoveling manure.
