pong. wow!– think about that game (a hundred bucks in 1977 money- or a quarter for one game to 21)and compare it to what the amazing stuff they have now. a kid today playing these new hi def , super detailed, action games would not beLIEVE how cool and completely innovative pong was when it first came out.

gad, that sure sounds like the ramblings of an old geezer doesn’t it?

There should be a simple resolution to this.

I hope he has one for the New Year, instead of a deresolution.

I always thought Brewster was “Clue-less.” I guess he does have at least one “clue.”

Hmm, Brew better start looking for the I/O port. But these days, the I/O ports all belong to System. Maybe by trying a negative index to an array he can modify the allocation tables.

bparnob: that’s nothing. Back in the 70s somebody released a mechanical Pong game with a light on a stick pointing from inside a simulated TV screen, with lighted mechanical paddles that you controlled up and down.

If someone named Brewster plays Pong, does that make it beer pong?

Don’t worry, Brewster will win somehow despite himself. Brute force stupidity beats computational subtlety every time (just ask any PC that’s been reprogrammed with a sledgehammer),

They actually made a Pong called the Painstation, which has players put one hand on the controls and the other on a mini whip, taser, and hot pad for each time they miss.
