Totally true. What else is there for a dog to do? He doesn’t have to hunt, because someone feeds him every day. A romance might be nice, but it’s likely very difficult, if not impossible, to achieve and probably fruitless at that. So, they sleep. What other biological imperatives do they have that aren’t already taken care of?

My Aussie chases the cows, the cats, birds, grasshoppers and anything else she can. She is usually on the go most of the day.

poor guys in the kennel don’t get much individual attention. My dogs get a good long walk and as much outdoor time as I can stand.
