When we had the horrible storm last week husband received a text on his cell. I did not. I did get a message on my old Blackberry – which no longer has service (I keep it because the camera takes better indoor photos and I like the games). Sunday we had a heavy rain storm – no thunder or lightning. I received a warning messatge on my cell phone, husband did not,nor did the Blackberry.

Strange. This is fire season in Northern California. Flood season is not for another 2 months or so.
