I’ve decided the year is like a river. It starts out smooth on New Yeatr’s Day then in summer the current picks up because there is a waterfall on Labor Day. It shoots down the waterfall that ends on New Year’s Eve. Then it starts all over. That is why Christmas comes so quickly after Labor Day!
