davidf42 - I have found a site that has the Wallet Family History that will fill in a lot of the blanks you have.

    http://kinnexions.com/reunion/wallet/fh_toc.htm

    I hope this helps.

davidf42-Where did you get Walt’s birthdate? I’d be interested in finding out when this was established.

It is a shame that such a classic and revered American comic strip would have to resort to plagiarism (like Sunday’s stirp) without attribution. It calls into question not only the writers, but the editing process. It would have been correct (and classy) to say “thanks and a tip of the hat to Victor Buono.” This was lazy and insensitive. Granted, this is a “comic strip.” However, there are copyrights involved, even in this milieu. This sort of literary integrity still matters, doesn’t it?

Redhead55 - Thanks for that link! I will certainly check it out.

Airboy20 - The birthday was supplied by one of the posters here, although I can’t find it now.

    ANNIE FANS

Why don’t we do what the Brenda Starr fans are doing? Go back to the beginning of the GoComcs archive and read one strip a day and comment on it? The story there is 8 years old and we’ve pretty much forgotten it anyhow. Besides, it would be great to see the old Annie gang reassemble.
