    You’d need an antibiotic.

Edcole1961, antibiotics don’t work on viruses.

I think Cliff will be considered more of a parasite.

To go viral does not mean to actually contract a virus. So, in this case, going viral would mean getting sick, although not actually getting a virus, for which antibiotics will work.

Years ago, I wrote a story called “The Magic Harness” all about Santa and Christmas. It’s geared towards kids. If anyone has a kid or grandkid (or is otherwise interested) you can email me at (screen name) at cox.net and I’ll attach a copy for you.

Happy Puzzleday, my happy puzzlers… the puzzle is here!

That’s in the December 19th, 2020 “Cleo and Company”…. newly arrived on Sherpa…

    Get it while it’s hot…

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy&uc_full_date=20201219

Or… Pour yourself some eggnog, and go straight to my side by side version…

    https://i.postimg.cc/ZK0gSd0b/Cleo-nine-differences-Dec-19th-2020-3.png

What a sweet expression on our dear little Cleo’s face.

Is she giving Clara a gift? Or getting one?

I’ve never seen Cleo buy a present.

Does she go to the store by herself?

I guess she has some pocket money, being a movie star and all….

But a lot of her pay is in kibble, which is hard to exchange for jewelry and scarves.

Oh… right… we’ve seen that she orders some things online.

    Maybe Clara’s gift came from eBasset.com, or Amazon.dog …..

I HOPE it didn’t come from BazookasЯUs.

Well, puzzle pals…. I made it back here via the computer….

    so it’s part way working.

A little shy on the “like” and “reply” button responses…

sorry, still missing a few, and my poor little mouse is getting tired of trying.

Speaking of which… sort of… when YOU get tired of trying…. you can take a look at my solution…

but please do give yourself a chance to solve it first.

I know, I know… the holidays are pressing, and months quarantine and of isolation may be taking a toll.

Frustration runs high… so if you just have to give up and peek a wee bit early this week, I’ll understand.

But think about how good you’ll feel if you find all nine on your own, before you do!

Who woulda thunk that 10 years later viral would be something that scared the crap outta me.

Weaponry for Ms Cleo today or steaks? The possibilities are endless.

WooHoo! I got all 9. The last one took the longest and was the easy one. (As always!)

Judging from the mess on the floor, it looks like Cleo opened everyone else’s presents just looking for her loot.

    Love Clara’s jumpsuit color!

    Breakfast is calling me!

I’ve got 8 differences. The ninth, I feel confident, is in the gift giving. In one panel, Clara is giving one to Cleo. In the other, Cleo is giving one to Clara.

Yep, welcome back, Cleo family, for the Sunday edition….

The December 20th 2020 ….. “Cleo and Company”

Probably the only Sherpa strip with a following on Ballard Street.

If Claude and Cleo don’t go back and let loose of a few coins, they’ll have to be afraid of taking baths for a while…

It’s hard to protect your left flank when it’s naked and vulnerable.

And if there’s a Salvation Army, and a Salvation Air Force….

    You know what’s coming next.

And don’t count on the Salvation Coast Guard to save you!

Now we know why they want the money. They need it to buy more drones. Cleo is drooling. She can’t wait to get home so she can get her bazooka.

Good morning, Ballardeers! Q Date: 282.98569.47 Seems like Jack Frosty has taken up residence around here.

It seems bell ringers have been getting a little more aggressive in recent years but that’s a little over the top. Expecting Cleo to bring out the Bofors next time.

Y’all keep the vibes for Saucy1121 going. (((((HUGS!)))))
