Cool! Meccanno. I remember having that stuff. Didn’t save anyone from any canyons with it, but I built lots of cool stuff with it. It’s still being sold so I hope lots of kids get some for Christmas today.

Where it looks like at least one of Cleo’s wishes is coming true….

And at least one of the neighborhood squirrels…. but more likely, dozens of them, is very disappointed.

Now, I think squirrels are cute, and I generally take their side in their war with basset hounds.

 

But Santa tries to stay neutral.

So maybe you squirrels should have thought just a little bit harder about biting into those last tomatoes, in the back yard.

I’m just saying.

 

You would think the cowboys would talk with each other and figure out a way to stop continually falling into that deep canyon.

That certainly lit up the Clifford’s Christmas tree. Evergreen, my tush.

I have seen some very intricate, detailed Lego constructions. I think some of them even had Lego keys to open them up and start them.

And the scene opens with last week’s Find the Differences still. Very clever, Nighthawks and StelBel. Thought you could slip that one right past us, didn’t you? Well, think again. They don’t call me ……… er ……… something for nothing, you know.

Ok, I deleted my comment to fix ONE mistake…

But it’s too late to fix the other.

I don’t pick on other people’s grammar accidents, unless they criticise someone else… but my own make me crazy.

So I’d just like to note….

Meanwhile… the terror running through the hearts of the Cleveland populace notwithstanding…

One good thing has come of this…

We know now who was giving whom a gift in last Saturday’s puzzle.

 

I was kinda hoping Cleo had gone out and shopped for something nice for Clara…

But it was not what had happened in that picture.

Maybe she did, and we’re simply not viewing that moment…

Then again… we all know she’s Cleo.

She can’t change her stripes overnight.

So to speak.

So that’s where the remote went.

Now he’s saving the deep canyon from the cowboys.

They should have stuck with doggy treats and chew toys. Merry Christmas to all!
