Um… welcome home, John. Had a good business trip in Ottawa?

Funny that he didn’t do that the other day when he was dead on his feet and daydreaming about being pampered by Elly in his recliner and ended up letting Farley sleep in it. He ought to do this everyday so so the dog knows it is not his chair. Well, at least, Elly needs to train him. I’ve never allowed my dogs sit on any couch in my house. They sleep on their nice cushiony and pillowy beds on the floor.

The most amazing part of Farley ’s reaction to being yelled at by John is his apparent ability to rise up and hover above the chair without moving his paws or hind feet. Dog telekinesis?

John should be happy to be home and able to sleep in his own bed tonight. He ought not to take his rotten trip out on his family. They’re not at fault.

Considering John was stranded in wild backcountry with Phil, the problems at the hotel should seem like a minor inconvenience at best.

Talk about a “no-win situation”. Ideally, she would wait until he’s in a much better mood instead of adding this to his bad mood. However, if she waits any length of time, he could be even more irritated that she waited “so long” before telling him. Good luck with that!

It is a sad state of affairs that people will worry more about the vehicle than those in it. I got in an accident when I was a kid. My mother was upset about the car and my father was glad I was not hurt, didn’t give a sh*t about the car.

I don’t think buttering him up by preparing his favorite dish will work this time, Ell. :o)

That guy needs some terrorizing. When he starts that bullying of his wife, she needs to make him fear for his life… or at least for his reproductive capacities. (Of course in real life, she eventually ran him off.)

Even his son knows his dad has a rotten temper. Interesting.

We just see snapshots. He isn’t hovering he is caught in the air.

If you live in a congested metropolitan area, it’s a matter of when not if you are involved in an accident. The best thing you can do is just not be at fault and hope that no one is injured!

It looks like Farley pushed down hard enough on the chair to cause the footrest on the recliner to rise up.
