In truth, I don’t think the problem is whether insight and logic can coexist. The problem is that you don’t see enough of either in blendable quantities. And since we’ve seen how seamlessly, say, emotion and willful ignorance coexist, or fear and denial, it could probably work with logic and insight. And probably does. Just because you never see something doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
