So… am I the only one who thinks the girl with the sunglasses and the bazooka is totally cute?

What the story with the lady in the tank top and jean shorts holding a rocket launcher/bazooka .. Can we give that character a backstory possibly her cousin/aunt?

The little girl in the bottom right corner, with a rifle, reminds me of Roy’s youngest girl. Maybe she does take on her mother’s side after all…

Love the Lora Croft lady on the left, but this is a wedding, how could they have let her in dressed like that? Even in a military wedding you don’t wear your combat gear.

Charlene must feel like a princess with all the armed security, nothing is getting in or out! XD These guys must have been what inspired Roy to become a security guard.

All jokes aside, Charlene did look beautiful on her wedding day, a great sight to see. ;)

The girl with the bazooka ‘does’ look a bit like Revy, from “Black Lagoon.” ✨❤️✨

Except for the cork gun and the bazooka, the rest look like shotguns. Are these people into duck hunting big time. Maybe “duck call” manufactures like the Robertson’s from Duck Dynasty.

Many fans will recall that back on April 1st Charlene deflected Ellie’s query regarding she and Roy’s “springtime romance.” She claimed that Sedine and Sam’s story was way more interesting, which kicked off the fabulous tale of their courtship. Michaela reached for the ham. Her origin story was worth the wait! More of the good stuff from Bea.

Are they friends of the bride or friends of the groom?

Sorry Bea, your five year plan for the strip is not going to work. You’ve presented us with such an interesting and vast array of characters that five years won’t be enough to tell all their stories!!

They are just protecting the beer and smoked meat at the reception.

As for Naughty Marietta, the girl with the bazooka (Hmm, not a bad book title!)… Well, there’s one in every family.

I imagined Charlene’s family would be carrying pitchforks and torches, but shotguns work, too.

Wow. I had no idea that Charlene and her family were from my home state. :-/

I wonder, though: shotgun weddings usually are to prevent the groom from running. With so many shotguns present, would it mean this wasn’t the first groom to flee from Charlene?

How romantic! I liked Sam and Sedine’s love story more, probably because it involved actual love instead of just heat.
