No, she is not a fan of failing inner city schools. She is a fan of voucher systems that allow parents to send their kids to schools that will actually teach the kids something. One of the reasons public schools in some areas are failing is there is little parental involvement. Also the fact that discipline has vanished in schools due to the kids knowing the system cannot discipline them without running afoul of the laws. We have a lot of friends that have recently retired out of our public schools in town. After 30+ years they were all burnt out by how much the schools have changed, no longer is there discipline, all they can do is send the kid to the principal who can only call the parent, who won’t back up the teachers or principals. The sixties have totally ruined our schools, and we only have our selves to blame for allowing it.
