    It’s not a rotary, but still close enough to being an antique. We were told our 40 year old oak dinning table was an antique 10 years ago, guess they have different guidelines for different items.

    I retired early because the newspaper industry was in the toilet. And someone mentioned road maps! OMG…I remember my parents stopping at a gas station to get a map and my mother trying to read it while Dad was driving….and of course, they were yelling at each the entire time. Mom was the GPS and not a very accurate one.

    I got my first typewriter at a garage sale for $5. Walked into a craft store the other day and they were selling them new for $100!

    Nostalgia is driving the collectables market. Anything from 1970 or older is considered as antique. When you clean out you Mom and Dad’s basement, attic, or garage keep an eye out and check eBay for going prices. You may be surprised.
