I’d say it was a tech joke, but mechanical pencils date back to the late 1700s… :D

Breaking the fourth wall seems to be all the rage these days.

And her teacher then asks her, “How are you going to get outside that last panel to clean that mess up? One grade point down for every one that you miss”.

Fun fact: The stuff in your pencil isn’t actually lead—it’s graphite!

I don’t do well with mechanical pencils. I’d need jar of shredded eraser bits.
