The last three dogs we had had memorable birthdays:

    July 4, 1976 (Bicentennial)

    February 14, 1997 (Valentine’s Day)

    April 1, 2004 (April Fool’s Day)

I can’t always remember our wedding anniversary but I always remember the date we met…. February the 29th, 1996 – that’s the more important day in my mind.

Third Verse: The dog house here is mighty small But it’s better than no house at all So ease it on over (move it on over) Drag it on over (move it on over) Move over old dog cause a new dog’s moving in

My birthday is St. Patrick’s Day, so he does remember (usually). Now our anniversary (on or close to Memorial Day) is another matter.

Don’t know any of our mutts’ birthdays. Wedding anniversary is easy, I have a dated wedding picture as background. Her birthday? Get asked every time I call a bank or credit union about one of her accounts.

Not a likely scenario..a pluggers wife accepts that a good man will forget her birthday a time or two.

A husband should never forget his wife’s birthday. And never admit to remembering her age.
