My son called it his “Bub”. It was so effective, we let him use it too long; and that became evident one day when he was old enough to push away from the table after supper and say, “Now for a good bub”. We had to throw it out; but we discovered that, like an alcoholic, he had others hidden around the house.

First son got second son off the binky. Told him only babies used binkies. Response was “Me no baby” and threw binky in the garbage.
