Having lived on the beach on the Gulf , we got some junk but most of it came from ships dumping their garbage at sea. Storms churn and wash it ashore. But then you also have those that don’t know what a trash can looks like. Cigarette dumpers really aggravate me because of fires they cause .
This was one thing that impressed us mightily when we visited our daughter in Charleston. It is the cleanest place we’ve ever seen. No trash along the streets and the beach was pristine.
