Burt is a techie! I love it! As part of my degree at uni I studied to be an audio/visual technician and after I graduated I worked as the only female AV tech at a hotel for a few months but a lot of the equipment was just too heavy for me to set up, so I didn’t last. It was fun work though if you like that sort of thing.

Does your cat talk to you? Before I picked up our Tuxie from the shelter I read up on her. Notice I didn’t say “read up on the breed.” Tuxedo is not a breed, but I probably don’t need to tell you that. What they ARE, is insanely smart. I nicknamed ours “Digger” because no matter how well you hide something, she can find it if she wants it. Out of nowhere, on the kitchen table, she’ll “cup” her paw and start fishing under a pile of papers. Then, voila! She’ll suddenly have produced a paper clip or coin- or a pill, for crying out loud! How does she even know these things are there? But she talks. She has a vocabulary! Rrrrowra. mmrff, rrooor. My favorite is Rowrow. Sometimes, if she’s in the back bedroom and I walk by the door, she’ll look at me, nod her head sharply and give be a cute little “brrrt”. I guess that’s her equivalent of “’sup?” My Lord and Lady, I love cats…

This could be the start of a long and beautiful friendship!

And thus BCN picks up its audio-visual specialist. <3

I love that, even with all the upright standing, Georgia never forgets that the cats are cats, and they walk around and move like cats.
