what would Alice have in mind for scenery instead? the ocean? oh, wait… she just left the ocean

Remember when cows shouted “Car!” before hopping down onto four legs to graze?

Some people say “Oh &^%$#, I just stepped in $#@*&.”

Actually, what Alice yelled at the cow made me snicker.

“You are delicious and your juice is great too.”

Oh, That whacky Petey! He really know’s how to liven up a boring Road Trip!

Hey, how about some Yodeling Duck songs?

Could Mr. Thompson nail it or what? This family, what a trip!

You want to yell at cows? Go to an Elvis impersonator concert.

I have a friend (an adult) to whom there is no such thing as a cow. To her they’re all moo-cows.

Outside the beltway, the trip to Maryland’s Eastern shore is lined with miles and miles of farmland. Mostly corn, soy and chickens, but an accurate depiction of the scenery.

Cul de Sac is a time capsule. Back then the only screen we had to stare at on long car rides was the window.

Alice try milking a cow. You would find the experience udderly amazing.

Petey’s mood has improved. And he has test-fired a joke of sorts, too!

Gotta love those kids. And the parents ended up in an insane asylum after this comic strip ended (RIP Thompson).

I think maybe this was the strip that made me fall in love with Petey the little kid. That is just funny.
