Like father like daughter.

At this stage of the story arc is where I start to wish we could move on to something new, but I do appreciate how this makes Katy look, as sensitive and mature. She just needs to mature a little more so she can properly channel her sensitivity. I see her in a few years as starting a “Coats for Kids” drive, or something similar. The world, with it’s negativity, can use more Katys.

Summer is making a last stand here in Northern Colorado, looks like it’s going to be around 90 for the next 5 days

Come on Fall!

We have family in Colorado; snow storms on Memorial Day weekend and blizzards on Labor Day weekend, 90 one day, 40 the next…And here in my part of Illinois, we can get well over 85, on some days, too far into Sept’ for comfort. Guess every state has it’s extremes.

At what elevation are they getting these Memorial/Labor Day snow storms? Even in the Great White North that is rare to never.

To chill or not to chill? Katy needs to chill.

This is getting old fast.

Soon she’ll be quoting Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and Dylan Thomas.

Up here in the PNW we went from 90 to 65 in one day, and now it is finally raining! Yay! I LOVE the cold!

Right now it’s 30 F here with a bit of snow.

The constant rain and cloud cover has lowered the temperature to the low to middle 80’s here in South Texas.
