It’s been a long time since my last TASC email, and my wordbox is a little creaky.
Oh, but first, an update on the big long-planned not-yet-happened re-launch of a new, improved version of the parked-on-an-old-site Comics Sherpa, a new version which will be completely integrated into the still-fairly-new-and-still-improving GoComics.com<http://GoComics.com>, offering numerous excellent new features, and which will also be completely free.
Yes, it is happening. (Scout’s honor.) It’s just Taking A Long Time, as in, our expectation is now rolling back into 2019. The commitment is firm, but if you pay attention to GoComics.com<http://GoComics.com> you know that a lot has been happening, and other more urgent work keeps pushing this project back. Since Sherpa is going to be free, there’s a certain logic to it having to defer. But we will build on what we’ve created thus far with the Sherpa adventure — and once we get there, 2.0 is going to be great. Sez me!
I’ve been taking names, in a good way, and email addresses, and several hundred cartoonists not currently on Sherpa have signed up to receive the news when we do lock in on our re-launch date, so they can join in the fun. The infinite cartoon universe continues to expand, taking Sherpa along with it. Thanks for your ongoing patience!
