Oh, how embarrassing for that Englishwoman. (So what is the número uno largest NYC park? I’ve been to NYC 20 years ago, but I don’t think I went to any of the parks, not even Central.)
Have to wonder how an, Ophthalmologist, optometrist or even the dispensing optician who provided her prescription contacts failed to examine her eye physically for 28 years
Central Park is the largest park in Manhattan, and Manhattan is New York City, for the most people on Earth and maybe in the US. That’s why everybody knows Central Park, believing that CP.is the biggest.
As a Contact Lens practitioner, I can’t tell you how many lenses I found and removed from patients upper lids! Not unusual at all and some times there were more than one!

Stinky Europeans have to be handed deodorant on hot days. Apparently they don’t use it normally.

Begs the question of which NYC parks are larger???? Had they said NY state it would be quite believable.

Well, it’s still a very nice park, as city parks go.

New York City and Manhattan, but not the “City State”, misleading info again.

Similar thing happened to me. I “lost” a contact lens in my eye for a few weeks. Not 28 years though.
