They’re out there somewhere having a honking good time.
Large flocks of Canadian geese are migrating through northernmost Maine right now. There are thousands of them on the lakes and rivers.
No postcards, but they leave a lot of calling cards.
They WILL honk as they pass you…
And, after a few hard rains or snowfalls, it will be safe to walk in the yard again.
They have been flying over our house lately going west(?). They make a lot of noise.
These must not be Canada geese, the meanest creatures ever to come out of nice-folks Canada.
Wren the going gets ruff they fly to a warmer location.
Unfortunately most people also do not write postcards. People have forgotten how to write, use paper, use a pen, buy a stamp, etc.
They should write. They have no shortage of quills.
