I got fired from a job for dozing off briefly after spending a night in the ER with my Father-in-law. (The fact that I was early and my start time wasn’t for another half hour meant nothing to them.)

At the TV station where I used to work, I would keep a pillow in the editing suite so I could lock the door and take an afternoon catnap.
