Only vote that counts is Mom’s and she agrees with Dad on most of the issues (they have agreed to disagree on the Weiner dog).

Lucky you’re not running for office Dad, you’d never get Calvin’s vote.

Your father, Calvin, can’t shorten the school weeks. That’s the school district’s job and they’ll need your parents’ votes.

Calvin, it’s time you learn about a rigged democracy, they say you have the right to vote but if it’s against them, they take it away.

Calvin, already owning a clipboard, is destined to become a government bureaucrat.

Let’s face it: it’s just too much to ask for anything Calvin asks.

It looks like Watterson’s IRA was well funded given that he was able to retire.

At least Dad makes it clear where he stands on the important issues.

The huge problem with polling is not secret: the respondents are self-selected. People like me never respond to polls. Consider the results of a poll question, “Do you respond to polls?” Apparently everybody does!

Not sure what an IRA is but his ire seems to be well managed.

Forget it, Calvin. Dad’s campaign is backed by a PTA super PAC.

What we are moving toward is the trend toward and illiberal democracy. Just look at Turkey and Hungary for modern examples and us right here for it coming closer to it.

Calvin doesn’t realize he’s not eligible to vote until he’s 18. And the minute he turns 18, Dad will send him packing.
