One more puff and this time Calvin’s head would have exploded for real.

I’d say the balloon worked.

Well at least one of us thought Calvin had a big head.

I hate those skinny balloons.

only in cartoon physics can an uninflected balloon inflate your own head

The problem is that you’re poofing when you should be puffing.

A lot of folks have talked over the years about what a swelled head Calvin has.

Didn’t someone say that inflation goes before the deflation? or something of that nature…

I don’t think the Balloon is the problem here, Calvin.

I can remember trying to blow up balloons when I was Calvin’s age. I though my ears were going to come unpinned from my skull.

Anything can happen in a cartoon.

Calvin just figured out a new way to alarm his parents. Maybe his face will freeze that way.

When the ballon blows back…

Been there, done that, nearly fainted.

I hate it when that happens…

All blow and no show.

I could blow up balloons, I just couldn’t tie them afterwards.

Just seeing that made my saliva duct openings feel weird.

Calvin could’ve had a balloon that turned his head into a dog. Longer balloon, though.

His is about the age I learned to stretch them first.
