If you have to ask the price you can’t afford it/her.

I’ll add: websites that won’t tell you the actual price until you check out. I’ll just leave and find another source.

And that’s another reason why they’re closing all the Piehole’s restaurants….

Have you ever eaten in a restaurant where only the host’s menu has prices?

I like the restaurants the post their menu outside the door – with the prices.

Not sure if that tree restaurant can BE snooty, given the name “Cafe Piehole”… I’ve heard the term “piehole” as a not-so-nice reference to the mouth…

Many of the little restaurants where I live don’t have individual menus. They’ll have a Signboard with the offerings for that specific meal. Sometimes they post the prices, sometime they don’t. If they don’t, it is expected that you’ll ask.

On average, a large breakfast will run about $2.00, lunch $2.50 and dinner about $4.00.

Down here, if you walk away from the table hungry, it’s your own fault.

Another tip… if the menu has tassels the food is overpriced.

That good night.. “hug” is directly proportional to the amount spent on supper. If that place across the street has a drive-thru.. that hug you were hoping for.. might be a handshake.
