It has no affect on them. They were already there when they were alive.

I know gluttony is supposed to be a deadly sin, but does this imply that gluteny is all right?

I’m neither vegan nor worried about gluten, but I never understood all the hate aimed at them. Besides, I have a vegan friend who makes the absolute best food (and desserts). Hardly suffering.

In Walter Miller’s “More Screwtape Letters”, he defined gluttony in an over preoccupation with food. This would include extreme dieting and over concern with ingredients and portion size. Basically, the sin of gluttony is one where food in one form or another overshadows one’s devotion to God. That is gluttony can be considered a form of idolatry.

All my vegan friends and my friends with celiac disease (no one with both!) are understanding, kind and willing to provide for themselves, as needed. I did read recently, however, about some vegans destroying butcher shops in France (France! for heaven’s sake!!).

Moloch, a “hot Earth” where the idea of “devils” come from and demons with red-skins, black-horns and hooves etc. The red comes from mercury-sulfate in their tissues. Hot biology. Opened a whole new areas of thermal biochemistry when it happened in modern times via anomalies.
