“Does anyone steal bases anymore?” Not really since Rickey Henderson retired!

Don’t neglect launch angle and bat speed.

The next thing that baseball needs to address is the shift. It doesn’t help that batters refuse to try to hit the ball the other way, or drop a bunt down the third base line. If they did that maybe, just maybe, the opposing team might rethink their strategy. In basketball, a zone is for cowards. Same goes for the shift in baseball. This sin’t slow pitch softball where you have a “rover.”

If these guys can’t hit it out of the park, they’re easy outs.

Lunch angle is a pointless Brian Kenny invention. Analytics has shortened pitchers careers , raised strike totals and lowered batting averages, but what the hey. It’s not worth going to WAR over.

These nerds need to leave their parent’s cellar and go out and catch some ball. I got your exit velocity (To second base?) right here
