Trace just blew it, Big Time.

He Called and Left a message for Lila without bothering to mention that the call was about an Emergency involving Annie.

Lila assumed it was just another Stalker Call from him.

The thought that is bothering me right now is that the real reason the author Stopped here is that Annie is Dying and he just could not Cope with writing and drawing the final hours/weeks of her life.

Or, what the Grief would do to Lila. She’s Fragile.

My God – you’re right… this is the last strip about Annie if you go back to September 29, 2012 and look at the next day’s strip.

I don’t suppose John and LA will be drawing any more so that it continues – apparently its been 6 years of a complete rerun.

You’re probably right about John and LA – they couldn’t bring themselves to draw the final strips, or, maybe had a difference of opinion and decided to just stop right here.

So Annie lives on, or dies, depending on your imagination.

Ok – great strip – but gone through this twice already – can’t go through the cliffhanger a third time in 2024
