I have no problem getting up in the morning, my wife, on the other hand is a known procrastinator in the morning. We both have alarm clock radios on each of our night stands, mine just turns on the radio, hers has multiple alarm beeps. In addition to all that, we have set up an app on an old phone, that goes off 3 times each weekday morning, 15 minutes apart, with different alarm songs. Makes it easy to know approximately what time it is by which was the last song played.
We’ve always joked that Judgement Day better not happen while our middle daughter is asleep. It got so bad that she used an old wind-up Big Ben alarm set on a pie plate to awaken her. The first time her husband heard it, he said it lifted him out of the bed. Everybody in their block gets up at the same time.
My wife is also difficult to get going in the morning. She sleeps through my getting up, #3 dog breakfasting on the bed, her radio alarm, turning the light on, and my telling her the time 2-3 times.

That is just too easy, Betty. Talk about served up on a tee.

Had a ringtone of a very young kitten which quickly got loud and insistent. It even got other cats’ attention.

Semi-retired. No alarm except for the cats wanting breakfast. Two of them are Siameseses.

Just wake to the radio like I do. During the week I pretty much wake up just as they’re doing the local news.

If he wants to use a bird call for an alarm, he should use the peacock mating call. It can be heard almost anywhere in the zoo.

I am waiting for olfactory ‘tones’. Coffee would work like a charm with my husband.

Someone actually makes an alarm clock with wheels. It runs away from you when you try to shut it off.

I’d like a phone that give olfactory wake up call. Coffee, or toast…
