They must be on a madrona. All the madrona trees that I’ve seen tended to grow more sideways the vertical.
As for the family. It is good to see them branching out for different musical experiences.

I recall an old Formosa which grew in such a way. The limbs and branches were broad. The tree gave enough shade so a person could climb into a comfy fork and snooze to the music of nature while the noisy house cleaning went on indoors.
The thought behind the strip is excellent: Climb, skip or dance, play music, relax, snooze – enjoy life whenever you can, while you can!
Purple is obviously the colorist’s favorite.
Down south, as in South Texas in Houston is a bad place to go for that . The weather is still too warm and Autumnal colors are muted down here.
