Denis is use to those automatic doors like the ones at his store. And when he gets in a rush he tends to forget. That seems to happen most often when visiting his sister-in-law with Maude.
Funny, I don’t remember that screen door being there when I came in…. Then again, Millie did sneak in a few banana daks from the Tiki in that thermos her purse for me. She said that if I behaved nicely to Maude that she’d let me have some.
Oh dear. Now Denis will have to come back to Millie’s to fix the door before the flies take over Millie’s filthy kitchen. Poor guy. Stop at the Tiki on the way, it may help.
Denis was never known for his graceful exits….and I’ve witnessed a few of his less-than-elegant entrances. We don’t want to say Denis is a klutz, but …. most Fine China Shoppes, from Ballard to Seattle, race to lock their doors, when they see him coming.

Security is one thing but Denis can’t get used to being screened on the way out.

Open door, then exit. Repeat.

Somehow, he adjusts the doors leaving for work. His zeal has knocked some screws loose. We’re seeing the doctor tomorrow!

Denis is, if I’m not mistaken, an alumnus of the Midvale School for the Gifted.
